While Museum admission is free, exhibitions held at the Museum are ticketed.

- Ticket sales end a half-hour before closing.
- One of either ticket is required for admission to the lower room of "The Swimming Pool". Galleries may be closed for temporarily for reinstallation.
- Kanazawa citizens are admitted free to exhibitions on “Promote the Arts Day” (Collection exhibitions only) and “Kanazawa Citizens Free Art Day.”

Parking

Please use the Kanazawa City Hall / Art Museum Parking Lot.
- Hours: 8:30 am to 11:00 pm
- Automobiles accepted: regular and light automobiles up to 5.0m in length, 2.1m in height, and 1.9m in breadth. No two-wheeled vehicles. (The parking lot is located between City Hall and the Museum).
Microbuses: Spaces available for two vehicles of up to 7.2m in length and 2.3m in breadth. (No reservations.) - Parking rates (inc. tax)

- Parking capacity: 322 vehicles
- The parking lot and nearby roads are crowded during weekends and busy seasons.
If the parking lot should be full, please use a nearby public or commercial parking lot.
Kanazawa City Parking Lot Information
Note: No parking available for large buses.
Large buses must be parked at public parking lots (Ishikawa Prefecture Kenroku Parking Lot, Kanazawa City Nagamachi Kanko Parking Lot). The bus stop in front of the Museum may only be used for unloading and loading passengers.
