Membership in 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa is open to all. Membership brings with it special privileges that allow you to fully enjoy the Museum. It satisfies your interest in contemporary art and the Museum itself, and your desire to get the latest museum information. Through your membership, you support 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa. While enabling you to view exhibitions, membership also brings you a sense of involvement in the Museum and helps you discover new ways of enjoying contemporary art.
Note: Membership applications are taken only in Japanese. Publications issued to members are also in the Japanese language.
In line with its mission to create and operate “a “participation-oriented museum along with Kanazawa’s citizens and revitalize the community,” the Museum offers a Sustaining Membership to enable broad support of the Museum’s activities by companies, groups, and individuals.
21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa is recruiting people to participate in its volunteer activities.
Pre-registration is necessary for participation. Please complete registration procedures upon reading the points below.
Kinds of Volunteers Needed:
Volunteers for events organized by the Museum
Public relations volunteers (poster/flier preparation, newspaper clipping compilation, etc.)
Support volunteers for the Museum’s Membership program
Conditions for Volunteer Recruitment:
To be able to correspond by fax or e-mail
To be of high school age or older
To be responsible and motivated
To understand the aims of the Museum’s volunteer activities
To agree to serve without an honorarium, in principle
The Museum’s volunteer activities are intended, in principle, for people who can communicate in Japanese, to ensure the smooth progress of volunteer work.
